Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrel Foods

Woodford Reserve has been distilling on site since 1780, the distillery building itself wasn’t erected until 1838, making it the oldest of the nine bourbon distilleries currently in full operation in Kentucky. Woodford Reserve is a brand of premium small batch Kentucky straight Bourbon Whiskey; the distillery also offers a wide selection of merchandise to accentuate individuals’ passion for craft bourbon.

Chef-in-residence Ouita Michel, oversees all culinary operations of the distillery. Influenced by her grandmothers traditional Kentucky cooking recipes and her mother’s organic cooking she has created a unique “community farm-based” cuisine. The imaginative dishes pay tribute to the treasure of traditional Kentucky cooking while embodying the flair of modern continental entertaining.
 
The Bourbon Barrel foods have a hands-on approach to making gourmet food products that exemplify the rich Kentucky Bourbon Country heritage. With a philosophy of “slow, small, simple” their products are hand-crafted in small batches from the best local produce and supplies. Giving them a unique opportunity to develop strong relationships with the local Kentucky farmers and growers and allowing them the distinct advantage of seeing the crops grow from the seed to the shelf.
