Word of the Day

The English language is made up of over 1 billion words. Not saying all those words have worked to further the language. Thanks to pop culture and social media a large number of the "new" English words are merely creations by television writers it maybe dated but "jinkies" is the prime example of pop culture and television perpetuating and creating a word that is eventually added to the English language. The original intention of my discussion of the English language started with my new word of the day.

Every day is filled with new and exciting things and today I learned a new word: Apiary.
Apiary is the place where a colony or multiple colonies of bees are kept, either in a single or multiple hives. Apiaries vary in many ways some are wall less structures like gazebos with hives set up within. Some are simple hives or bee boxes set up in a designated area. The size structure and permanence of any apiary depends on the needs and preferences of the apiarist e.g. the beekeeper.
