Dinner for Hungry Firemen
Tonight we made dinner for a group of hungry firefighter trainees. I have to admit, not all of them were as hot as we'd like heroes to be... But they were still pretty fine. We made homemade lasagna, two giant pans, homemade garlic bread, two big loafs and apple crumb pie, two whole pies. All this for the seven firefighters in my older brother's fire academy class. Since my parents live about twenty minutes away from one of the fire academies in the area and my brother's group were spending the week there my brother asked if they could all crash in the game room above the garage. It was fun they were all so polite, it just reminded me however that the only time I see my brother, or hear from him is when he needs or wants something. He probably doesn't even realize it. God knows I'll be the last one to point it out too. I don't want to possibly offend him. I love him he's my big brother. My hero even before he became a firefighter with hot firefighter friends.
