Today is one of those days that are just kind of weirdly special it will be another 89 years before the dates will a line in the same manner. A lifetime before there is a 1-1-1. It's rather odd to think about and I wouldn't really have even noticed if I hadn't had two customers get engaged and one couple get married today when I was at work, all at 12:12 pm. Its one of those weird little things that I'd never think about but so many do. There is something to be said for the luck and good fortune of the day. Only occurring once a year and twelve times a century there is something so very fortuitous about having ones life together when one of them rolls around.
One of the couples I had in today at work, just gotten engaged. Twelve was her lucky number and when last New Years came she told herself it was going to be a good year. She soon met her now fiancee and today he brought her for lunch and at 12:12pm 12/12/2012 he proposed and according to her this is the best of years.
I'm sure this isn't a one of a kind story. This probably happened all across the world today. Its a nice little reminder that every day is special, and every day is a once in a century day not just the ones with dates all the same number.
