Hello my name is Jenna and I'm crafty, not in the puckish way but the always trying to find new and creative ways to do things kind of way. My newest project is the baby gift for my best friends son who is due on February 27th. Tomorrow is my day off this week so I'm going to be creating the designs I've been working on.
I have the designs for three different onesies. Using fabric paints I intend to paint a Hello my name is sticker with "Jackson" in sloppy penmanship on the front for one of them, then do a pea pod with vines coming off and in block letters saying "give peas a chance" and on the final onesie I intend to have it have a little baby monkey with a diaper on and holding a bottle. Those are just the onesies not the five bibs I need to finish one has duckies walking across the front, one is tie dye, one will have a either a bow tie or just a normal tie drawn on it (I haven't decided which sketch I like best), one will have trains chugging across it, and I haven't decided on the final one yet. The project I'm most excited about however is a twelve by fourteen inch canvas with curious George making a mess and finger painting all over a wall and in sloppy finger painted letters spelling out "Jackson" on the wall with the "k" turned backwards of course.
I'm so excited to work on these projects I have them all timed out in my mind. Start with the painting get the preliminary coat while that dries do the tie dying and work on the bibs, then go back to painting and sketch and paint the design on the canvas, while that dries I'll work on the onesies, and with any luck I'll be able to get a load or two of laundry done and make dinner. So I feel like tomorrows post maybe a description of how utterly disastrous my good intentions have turned out to be.
