Be it tobacco or twitter everyone has something. Something they can't go any length of time without. They can give it up at any time. They don't have to have it, they just like to. Its an old story really. One everyone has given and everyone has heard. I'd like to say not all addictions are bad, but that wouldn't be true. For anything that controls someone, anything that dictates the quality and way in which a person lives their life is not okay.
There are many constructive addictions, like cleaning, and working out, working and reading. However like in the case of wine and chocolate everything is good only in moderation. Everyone has some kind of addiction. Very few of which will actually kill them. No ones going to die from a scrap-booking or couponing addiction. Yet for a healthy full life moderation still is the key. Its so easy to loose sight of whats important in life, especially when all our time and thought is lost on our little obsessions. Its easy to forget to look up and see the world when we're just trying to upload a new food picture to Instagram or create a great new board on Pinterest.
Moderation is the key. Everything in moderation. Moderate my alcohol, moderate my chocolate, my Youtube and my Hulu. Moderate my lifestyle. Minimize my addictions, but that's the thing, we never really do.
