days off kind of suck

Having a day off kind of sucks now and again. For example  today was my day off and what did I do, vacuum  do dishes, do laundry and clean the bathroom floor to ceiling, and by ceiling I mean pull the latter out so I could Windex the skylight. Granted I truly enjoyed not having to go to work, not having to get up before the butt crack of dawn, so I could drive to my nanny job and be there before the kids are up or the sun has even risen. I liked not having to deal with crazy people and their  bizarre questions and requests. Despite all the pleasantness with not having to go to work, I still spent the entire day working. To top it off at the end of the day I wasn't a little richer, quite the opposite in fact after going to the grocery store. But that's the life we live spending our one day off a week cleaning up after our selves and taking care of chores we neglected the other six days of the week.
