Day 76

Today is day 76 of this little writing experiment... and I still don't have the hang of it. I guess that's the lesson I should take from this whole thing I can write every day, thousands and thousands of words over the course of two and a half months and still sit down at the computer after work and have absolutely no idea what to write.

I could talk about children's stories and how a surprisingly large number of them really are for the adults reading. How there are subtle innuendos or jokes that no one under the age of twenty, no matter how "grown-up" they are would ever get. There is however, always the possibility that since I read the same kids books about ten times a week I'm starting to see unintended references just to amuse myself. Now that I think about it, that probably is a more plausible explanation, Occam's Razor I guess.

I could talk about cooking and medicinal properties of kitchen spices, since I did just make my kick ass cold curing chicken soup today. Or maybe I should discuss string theory, every body loves a little string theory: there is the "theory of everything" that is made up of superstrings, extra dimensions, branes and stuff. It's important because it is believed to explain the mysteries of the universe like how quantum physics and gravity fit together... And that is the extent of my knowledge on string theory and probably half the people teaching about it too. So I guess I don't have anything really to say today. On to day 77, hopefully I'll have something to say tomorrow.
